Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Respiratory Care Trainee, Respiratory Care.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for providing technical and equipment support to respiratory care department as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implements and maintains disposable and non-disposable equipment inventories.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains portable cylinder inventory and provides for cylinder distribution and collection.
• Maintains and provides minor service to respiratory care equipment as required.
• Sets up, tests, and distributes respiratory care equipment; maintains and re-supplies respiratory care equipment storage areas.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent. Previous training or experience with respiratory care equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of one year of a respiratory care technician training program (one year training in JRCRTE/CoARC approved respiratory therapist or therapy technician program or equivalent); one year previous experience working with respiratory care equipment.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $36.99 - $37.56 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
